For quite some time, Sheezan's family maintained their silence. However, they have now spilled the beans on what happened.?
Sheezan's sisters, mother and lawyer held a press conference and made these explosive claims that have brought the biggest twist in the Tunisha Sharma suicide case.
1. We never 'compelled her to embrace Islam'.
His sisters Falaq and Shafaz said that they never forced her to convert to Islam or wear hijab against her wishes. In fact, she wore hijab for the shooting of the show.?
2. Tunisha was in depression due to childhood trauma.?
"Tunisha was suffering from depression due to a childhood trauma...?Tunisha¡¯s mother accepted that she has been neglecting Tunisha and that she didn¡¯t take care of her."
3. Her mother used to force her to work.?
"She was made to sign for two music videos though she was not interested... If her mother had not forced her to work she would have been alive today."
4. Tunisha's mother Vanita allegedly once tried to strangle her daughter.
"Tunisha used to panic a lot upon hearing the name of Sanjeev Kaushal. At the instigation of Sanjeev Kaushal, Tunisha¡¯s mother broke her phone and tried to strangulate her."
5. Tunisha's mother controlled her finances.?
"Sanjeev Kaushal and Tunisha¡¯s mother used to control Tunisha¡¯s life."
6. Tunisha had to beg for her own money.? ?
"Tunisha and Sanjeev Kaushal (an uncle in Chandigarh) had terrible relations. Sanjeev Kaushal and her mother, Vanita, used to control Tunisha¡¯s finances. Tunisha often pleaded in front of her mother for her own money."
7. Tunisha's mother used to call her back-to-back and she was fed up.
His sister said that Tunisha's mother used to call her back-to-back and she was fed up of the same. So much so, that she would not take her call. Then, Vanita would call everyone on the sets.?
8. Tunisha's uncle Pawan was fired as her manager.
"Tunisha¡¯s so-called uncle Pawan Sharma was her former manager, who was fired four years ago because he used to interfere in her affairs and behave harshly with her."
9. Sheezan didn't have any other girlfriends.?
The family and the lawyer made it clear that there was no mystery girlfriend. The girl's statement has been recorded by the Police and she was not his secret girlfriend.?
10. Sheezan had called Tunisha's mother a day before her death.
Sheezan, as per the family had called Tunisha's mother a day before her death. "On December 23, Sheezan called Tunisha's mother out of the concern and asked her to visit the set. He asked her mother to spend more time with Tunisha as she needed her."
11. Sheezan and Tunisha broke up mutually.
The lawyer said that they both had broken up mutually to focus on their careers.?
12. Sheezan never consumed drugs.?
"My brother had never consumed drugs. They had a very understanding relationship with each other. There was no point of Love Jihad as Tunisha's mother never wanted her to get married to Sheezan. My brother asked Tunisha to focus on her career. Sheezan was not with her in last 15 minutes."
13. Tunisha broke down in a voice note to Sheezan's mom.
The family played the voice note to media in which Tunisha says, "Aap mere liye bahut maine rakhte ho Amma, bahut zyada. aap jaante bhi nahi ho. Isiliye aapse haar baat share karne ka mann karta hai. Isiliye mere zehen me jo bhi hoga main aapko bataungi. Lekin pata nahi, pata nahi mujhe khud kya ho raha hai nahi pata (You are very important to me Amma, very much. You have no idea. That¡¯s why I feel like sharing with you everything and whatever I have in my heart, I will share it. But I just don¡¯t know what is happening to me)".
