As the release of Brahmastra comes closer, the makers are finding different ways of promoting the film. Karan Johar recently shared a video on his Instagram account that stars Vanar Astra.?
"The extraordinary power of Vanarastra will unfold in just eight days!".
Shah Rukh Khan's fans immediately flooded the comment section after he shared the video. "Sharukh Khan...killing it," one fan said in a remark.
For those unaware, a recent video became popular over the Internet. The video clip combines footage of the Vanar Astra, a glowing ape-like silhouette from the film, with a frontal shot of SRK kneeling with his outstretched arms.
In a Bollywood Hungama interview, Mouni Roy confirmed Shah Rukh Khan's cameo role in the film. She confirmed:
"My character is derived from one of his fantasy fiction, i.e., Ayan's brainchild. But also know when working with people like Ranbir, Alia, Bachchan Sir, Nagarjuna Sir, and Nagarjuna Sir. Shah Rukh Sir also plays a guest appearance... being a part of this world is a privilege. I suddenly realized why they are where they are in life."
After the trailer launch, several people speculated that superstar Shah Rukh Khan had a cameo in the film.
Back in June, SRK¡¯s fans shared screenshots from the trailer and wondered if it was King Khan who appeared as ¡®Vayu.¡¯ And now it seems like the observation made by the eagle-eyed fans is correct.
Helmed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Brahmastra stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in the lead.?
The movie is slated to hit the theatres on September 9.
