Flatheads?co-founder?Ganesh Balakrishnan says his family helped him pack and ship all the orders from his bedroom.??
In a note on Linkedin, Balakrishnan shared the reason for his silence for two days. He said he and his family were busy packing the orders. "Pardon me for the radio silence over the past 2 days. We've been focused on what's most important - shipping customer orders!?
"After the Shark Tank India episode aired on Friday, there has been an unbelievable wave of compassion and support across the country. And along with that, we've received record traffic on our Flatheads website, all organic! I'm super excited to share that we've sold out our limited remaining quantity of shoes in 2 days flat! And for the first time ever, our CAC was Zero! (sharks please note ?)", he wrote.
He added, "Since we couldn't afford a warehouse any more, we had moved all the inventory to my house a couple of months ago. Our bedroom had become a little smaller as a result, but it was a small inconvenience."
"Once orders started pouring in since Friday, our Flatheads team came to the rescue. Special shoutout ? to Joel D'souza, Clevin Rodrigues and friends, and my family folks Gayatri Balakrishnan, Ram Srinivasan and Mom for lending a helping hand over the weekend. We spent 2 days packing most of the orders, and managed to ship out the first lot today!?
"A genuine thanks for all the love! There are a few pending orders we will ship out tomorrow."
