According to reports, actor Aman Verma, who portrayed Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini's son in the movie Baghban, and his wife Vandana Lalvani are divorcing after nine years of marriage. The couple's divorce has reportedly been verified by a person close to them. The couple tied the knot in December of 2016. They first crossed paths in 2014 while working on the set of Hum Ne Li Shapath and in 2015 they got engaged.
According to the Times of India, a source close to the couple said that Aman and Vandana had both thought about starting a family and worked to improve their relationship. But as their developing conflicts grew more and more intractable, the couple finally decided to split up.
?The source was quoted saying, ¡°There were problems between the two for a long time and they had tried hard to connect and strengthen their relationship."
¡°Aman Verma and Vandana Lalvani had also thought about starting a family and both tried their best to improve their relationship, but the gap between them had increased so much that finally now the couple has decided to separate."
Aman Verma said, "No comment," when the portal asked him to comment on the report. He said, "Anything I need to say will be communicated through my lawyer at the appropriate time". Vandana on the other hand did not comment on the issue either.
