Aman Verma, the actor who is best known for his role in Amitabh Bachchan¡¯s Baghban is currently in news because of his divorce rumours with wife Vandana Lalwani. As per reports, the two have had persisting issues and have decided to call it quits. Amid all the chatter around the separation, discussion around Aman¡¯s casting couch controversy has also surfaced. Aman Verma once was a household name after having starred in many popular TV shows like Khulja Sim Sim however, his career took a turn for the worse in 2003 when he became embroiled in the casting couch incident. After India TV carried out a sting operation, Aman became embroiled in the scandal.
As per News18, Aman was heard conversing with an unidentified girl during the sting operation who was prepared to spend the night with him. The actor accused the channel of purposefully deleting parts of the show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. Aman said that no one in the television industry supported him. However, he claimed that Sanjay Dutt, Govinda, and Salman Khan supported him during that trying period. The actor claimed that Salman had promised to attend whatever press conference he held.
Salman, Govinda, Sanjay Dutt, Arbaaz Khan, director Ravi Chopra, and others seemed to back Aman during a 2005 press conference held at Mehboob Studio. The performers claimed that in this issue, the channel had put a female reporter's life in danger. Salman claimed that there was a plot to discredit Aman.
The video had emerged on the internet when Aman joined Bigg Boss, and he had to deal with a lot of criticism for it. It also affected his Bigg Boss journey.
