In a tragic turn of events, nine tourists were reported dead, and many others were injured after boulders broke off a mountain and came rolling down in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district due to a massive landslide.?

Among the eight tourists who died on the spot was Dr. Deepa Sharma, who was on holiday to ring in her birthday.?

Just a few hours before the incident, Deepa was active on Twitter and posting pictures and videos from her trip.?

Many are shocked after knowing Deepa's untimely and heartbreaking demise.?Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut also mourned her death.Kangana recollected Deepa as a 'fan who showered' her with gifts. She took to Instagram to remember her.?

‘Such a great fan, she sent me lovely letters and showered me with gifts and also visited my house in Manali... Oh!!! Seems like a big jolt...This is beyond tragic... Oh, God!!!’
