Kriti Sanon's Mother Apparently Agrees Karan Johar Is Trying 'Hard To Belittle' Her Daughter
When Sonam Kapoor had called Kriti Sanon and Kiara Advani underrated actresses, Karan Johar sort of disagreed and said, "they think they're big stars in?their head". Soon after the episode, one of Kriti's fans tweeted that the actress is indeed underrated. She said that if Alia Bhatt would have done Mimi, she would have more credit than Kriti.?"A smart guy once said if an outsider does well their success is hushed but if an insider does well then it’s celebrated!" she added.
This tweet was retweeted by Kriti Sanon's mother Geeta Sanon.
Now, on a recent episode of Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar revealed that he had offered Kiara Advani's role in Lust Stories to Kriti first but she rejected it because her mother didn't approve.?

He said, "I had offered it to Kriti Sanon, the role...and she said that her mom didn't allow her. I thought everybody's mom would stand in line, not allowing their daughters. It's actually a very empowering story. It's about a woman's right to pleasure. So I met Kiara at Manish Malhotra's house, and I just saw her, I knew her of course, I knew her as Alia Advani then...so I met her and I asked can you come tomorrow and meet me, it's for a short film. She came and she heard it and then she was a little zoned out."
A Twitter user expressing her opinion said that Karan Johar is trying to belittle Kriti Sanon on Koffee With Karan and her mother agrees as she has liked the tweet.?

Reacting to Kriti Sanon's mother liking this tweet, a fan wrote on Reddit, "Kriti is the only real competition his dharma girls have atm + kjo has been more obvious with his bias than usual probably."
Another fan said, "I like her mother! Kriti's fans should react. If it was DP/Kat in Kriti's place, by this time the reaction would be good!"
