Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase-1:?As the voting began for 102 parliamentary seats spanning 21 states/Union Territories in the first phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, several Tamil actors and celebrities were seen exercising their democratic rights and casting their votes. Those spotted flaunting their inked fingers include Vijay Sethupathi, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, Ajith Kumar and others.?
Vijay Sethupathi who was recently seen in Merry Christmas alongside Katrina Kaif was seen interacting with fans after casting his vote. He visited the polling booth along with his wife and waited in the long queue.?
As he was waiting he was seen talking to his fans and getting photographs clicked with them. The man's kind gesture towards an old lady in a wheelchair has won people's hearts. He was seen touching her feet before clicking a selfie.?

Rajinikanth who was spotted with his publicist and team at the polling booth greeted everyone and proudly showcased his inked finger for photographers as well as videographers.??
Actor-politician Kamal Haasan whose party Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) had joined hands with the ruling DMK-led alliance in Tamil Nadu and extended its support for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, was also seen exercising his democratic right.
Actor Dhanush who recently got divorced from his wife Aishwarya, daughter of Rajinikanth, was also spotted at St Francis Xavier School at TTK Road fulfilling his duty of casting his vote in the phase one of Lok Sabha 2024 elections.
Ajith Kumar, Sivakarthikeyan, Gautham Karthik, and directors Sundar C, Vetri Maaran, and Sasikumar were also spotted casting their vote for Lok Sabha 2024 elections.
Voting commenced at 7 AM on Friday across all 39 Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu for the 2024 general election, amidst rigorous security measures. Citizens arrived at polling stations with enthusiasm, patiently awaiting their turn to cast their ballots, while state and central police personnel ensured security. Approximately 6.23 crore voters are poised to determine the outcomes for 950 candidates across nearly 68,000 polling stations.??
