Mahesh Babu To Star In SS Rajamouli's Next Movie, Director Says He Has Two Stories On His Mind

First, it was Prabhas and Rana Daggubati. Now, it is Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Whoever has starred in a SS Rajamouli's magnum opus has become an overnight global star.?

Next in line is Mahesh Babu who will star in another larger-than-life magnum opus.

Spilling details on the yet-to-be-disclosed movie, Rajamouli said that he has two scripts in mind for the superstar.?

"When RRR was postponed due to Omicron variant, my father Vijayendra Prasad, ordered me not to stay idle at home. We started dabbling with a couple of ideas, and have two pitches for Mahesh Babu now".?

Without revealing much about the movies, he said, "Both of them are exciting and large-scale movies."

At a recent event, Mahesh Babu said that he is looking forward to the project. "I'm very excited about Rajamouli garu’s project".?

For the unversed, Mahesh Babu is one of the South Indian stars who refused to star in a Bollywood film despite many offers. He says, "I don’t need to do Hindi films. I can just do a Telugu film and it’ll get seen all over the world – that’s what’s happening right now. You’d want to be in a position to do (only) a Telugu film."
