Malaika Arora has just lost a parent through a means that is even more heartbreaking. The Police are investigating the death of Anil Kuldip Mehta and has so far said that it's a matter of suicide. While the family is grieving for the untimely death of the 62-year-old, people are blaming Malaika Arora and her sister Amrita Rao for not taking care of their parents. Once again, society has found a way to place blame on women, and it's truly appalling.
While some of the people are blaming Malaika and Amrita for not taking enough care of their old parents, others are questioning how could she leave her mother Joyce Polycarp alone on the night when he father has passed away in that house. This happened after a video of Malaika Arora, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor leaving the house at night emerged.?For the unversed, Malaika and Amrita had both visited their parents on the night of September 11 totally unaware that a morning later, his father leave them for their heavenly abode.?
"It's disgusting how they all just put blame on the daughters. I have to say, this nature of Indian society is so disgusting. No matter what happens, the fault is always on the girl without knowing any background and the public witch hunt begins," one user said. "Those people who comment on the dressing of Malaika are the same people who love to see her pics. Then they have the nerve to shame. Malaika has not done anything wrong, she is who she is," said another one.
Will the history repeat itself??
This is exactly what happened with Sushant Singh Rajput's case. While Police suspected it was a suicide, people started to blame his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for abetting it. She was publicly attacked, trolled, called a gold digger, and more worse things. Can we please let people at least grieve in peace??
