Nine months after defending the controversial dialogues of Adipurush, writer?Manoj Muntashir who has also written the lyrics of Kesari's?Teri Mitti,?has now expressed his regret for writing the dialogues that got massively trolled. He added that the film gave him "unbearable pain" and he takes complete responsibility for it.?
Muntashir added that if given a chance, he would like to undo this from his life. "If given a choice and if I could go back in the timeline, I may not write dialogues for Adipurush. It has given me unbearable pain. Though no one else is responsible for it. I take complete onus," he told Zoom in an interview.?
Soon after the release of the movie, he told Republic TV in an interview, "It is not an error. A very meticulous thought process has gone into writing the dialogues for Bajrangbali. We have made it simple because we have to understand one thing (that) if there are multiple characters in a film, all of them can¡¯t speak the language. There has to be a kind of diversion, a division."

He added, "I come from a small village where our grandmothers used to tell us stories from Ramayan in this language. One more thing, the dialogue that you just mentioned, it has been used by the greatest saints, and storytellers in our country in the same manner as I have written it (in Adipurush). I am not the first one to write this dialogue, it is already there."??
