Adipurush Writer Manoj Muntashir Defends Lord Hanuman's 'Jalegi Bhi Tere Baap Ki' Dialogue
Adipurush Writer Manoj Muntashir has come out in defense of his dialogues for Hanuman. He said that these dialogues have been used by the greatest saints and storytellers and he is not the first one to write this dialogue.
"Adipurush is the worst film of the last five years. Dreadfully crude dialogues & atrocious screenplay are a blot on the epic RAMAYANA."
This is what a Twitter user wrote. Echoing his thoughts are many on social media -- who are either disappointed with the film or angry at the fact that it misinterprets and sexualises Indian mythology epic.
Among many other things, the dialogues are making a lot of noise. People are furious at the cringe, chapri and tapori dialogues given to Lord Hanuman.
Adipurush dialogues that have enraged the audience:
1. Ravana's son lights up Hanuman's Tail: Jali na.. Jiski jalti hai..
Bajrang: Kapda tere baap ka. Tel tere baap ka. Aag bhi tere baap ki. Toh jalegi bhi tere baap ki.
2. Hanuman: Aap kaal ke liye kaleen bicha rahe hain.
3. Ravan: Jo humai beheno ko hath lagayega... uski lanka laga denge.
4. Ravan: Teri bua ka bageecha hi kya jo hawa khane chala aaya.
5. "Mere Sapole ne tumhare Sheshnaag ko lamba kar diya, abhi toh pura pitara bhara pada hai."

Writer Manoj Muntashir defends Hanuman dialogues
In an interview with Republic TV, he said, "It is not an error. A very meticulous thought process that has gone into writing the dialogues for Bajrangbali. We have made it simple because we have to understand one thing (that) if there are multiple characters in a film, all of them can¡¯t speak the language. There has to be a kind of diversion, a division."
Talking about 'Jalegi bhi tere baap ki' dialogue, he said:
The Lanka dahan sequence is going viral on social media and Lord Hanuman's tapori dialogues has made people angry. In his defence, Muntashir said, "How do we all know the Ramayana? We have the tradition of katha vaachan (storytelling), we read also but there is a vaachan parampara (the tradition of storytelling). Ramayan is the kind of granth (book) which we have heard from our very childhood, there is Akhand Ramayan, paath and many other things.
How sweetly @republic's Arnab Goswami is hand delivering "2 pehlu" of the self proclaimed "Nationalist" @manojmuntashir "Shukla" who wrote the dialogues of #Adipurush after a "meticulous thought process"!!

"I come from a small village where our grandmothers used to tell us stories from Ramayan in this language. One more thing, the dialogue that you just mentioned, it has been used by the greatest saints, storytellers in our country in the same manner as I have written it (in Adipurush). I am not the first one to write this dialogue, it is already there."
Furthermore, he asked why people are only talking about Hanuman. "We should speak about Lord Ram and Sita's dialogues also. Why not talk about those dialogues also?"

"Today I am unfollowing you Sir, because you made us (Hindus) fools. If I am right, the dialogue in the film was written by you," a user wrote.
"Sir, you have done the work of defaming the pen, this was not expected from you, sir, apologize sir, because of you, crores of Sanatanis are hurt."
"Shame on you.... You were a Hinduist... You sold out your character... For the sake of money... Native man... Like supporting a movie is a big sin.... You did things against Valmiki ji Ramayana..... Partners in sin... Have some shame".
