Naga Chaitanya Says It'll Be 'Crazy' To Work With Samantha Ruth Prabhu Again, Says He Has Moved On
From being proud of how strong she is to say that she doesn't share an amicable relationship with Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has often opened up on her separation. While Naga Chaitanya on the other hand has maintained his silence.?
For the first time, the actor who is all set to make his debut with Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha, had addressed questions on his separation.
Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu couple had announced their separation last year in October. When asked if he would work with the Family Man 2 actress again, he told Siddharth Kanan in an interview, "That's gonna be a crazy one if it happens. But I don't know, only the universe knows. Let's see."
Samantha Ruth Prabhu had answered a similar question on Koffee With Karan. She said, "There are hard feelings like if you put the both of us in a room you have to hide sharp objects. So as of now, yes."
She also told Karan Johar, "It's not an amicable situation right now. It might be in the future."
He also told TOI recently that both of them have moved on. "In our case, Samantha has moved on, I¡¯ve moved on and I don¡¯t feel the need to inform the world about it, more than that."
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were once the power couple of Bollywood. Their separation had come as a shock to many. The son of veteran actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, Chaitanya made his acting debut in 2009.?
Samantha and Chaitanya became good friends on the sets of Ye Maaya Chesave, which was also her debut film. It is said that Chaitanya was dating Shruti Haasan at that time and Samantha was in a relationship with Siddharth. In 2013, they reportedly parted ways with their respective partner and when they worked together in Autonagar Surya, they fell for each other.?
On October 2, 2021, Samantha and Chaitanya announced separation with statement that read, "To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us."
