R Madhavan aka RHTDM's Maddy has been brutally trolled on social media for his latest comment on the?Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Mars Mission.?
Madhavan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming biopic Rocktery: The Nambi Effect, drew flak for his remarks during the movie's promotions.? The actor stated that the Hindu calendar Panchang was used by ISRO to launch a rocket into space.
Soon after, netizens, including some of Maddy's loyal fans were disappointed by his remarks and took to social media targeting him with hate comments. Some said he has turned into a 'Whatsapp Uncle' from a "Chocolate Boy," while some targeted him with even worse.
A user tweeted, ¡°Science is not everyone¡¯s cup of tea. It¡¯s ok not to know Science. But it¡¯s better to keep your bloody mouth shut when you¡¯ve no idea as to how things actually work; instead of quoting some WhatsApp stuff and making a mockery of yourself #Madhavan #Rocketry #MarsMission (sic).¡±?
Another said, "Madhavan is the best example for 'he¡¯s cute until he opens his mouth'."
¡°To call actor Madhavan¡¯s claims on India¡¯s Mars Orbiter Mission ¡®stupid¡¯ will be an understatement; the amount of bullshit he blurted out in a couple of minutes, with terrifying confidence and utter disregard for facts, is of gargantuan proportions. #Madhavan #Mangalyaan (sic),¡± a third user said.
A new trailer of Rocketry: The Nambi Effect has been dropped by makers on Friday and we can say that R Madhavan has aced Nambi Narayan's look for the film.
Based on the life of the former ISRO scientist and aerospace engineer, Nambi Narayan - who was accused of espionage - the film tells the tale of Narayan's life as a student at Princeton, and his career successes followed by the subsequent accusations of espionage.?
The trailer also calls Nambi Narayan an 'arrogant genius' as it focuses on his journey of establishing India in the commercial satellite market.?
Apart from his portrayal of Nambi Narayan's character, the film marks the talented R Madhavan's directorial debut.?
The actor has also contributed to the script and is producing the film along with Sarita Madhavan, Varghese Moolan, Vijay Moolan under the banner of Tricolour Films, Varghese Moolan Pictures and 27th Entertainment.
R Madhavan's movie the Rocketry is slated to hit theatres on July 1, 2022.
