Be it his antics in Naiyyo Naiyyo or his curly hair in Soldier, Bobby Deol was once a rage and almost close to being a fashion icon in the '90s. However, he soon faded away into oblivion and made a roaring comeback in Race 3. The film was a flop, but it made headlines for Deol's comeback.?

Recently opening up on the dark phase in his career, Bobby admitted that he turned to alcohol when he thought that no one wanted to work with him.?

"When you pity yourself, you will start cursing the world around you. That is what happened with me for two-three years. I started pitying myself and thought that no one wants to work with me so I relied on alcohol. I started numbing myself and then one day I realised where I was wrong when I saw it in my kids’ eyes that our father stays home all day long," he was quoted as saying by Bollywood Hungama.

Bobby Deol said that he soon realised that he needs to work on himself and move forward. When that happened, he was back in business.?

Deol?is all set to appear in two new projects -- Netflix film Class of 83 and Prakash Jha's web-show Ashram.
