When Facebook reminds us of our past memories, we often feel embarrassed at our own thoughts back then. The past, as they say, often haunts you, and for celebrities, it is even more difficult.
The proof of the same is Saif Ali Khan's old interview, from when he was in his '20s, going viral on social media a while ago. It was quite a weird interview because it was very difficult to make sense of his words, yet it was funny at the same time.
"I would very much like to have what saif ali khan had before giving this interview," a fan said seeing the video.
"How high was saif ali khan when he did this interview omfg ¡°yeh koi ummar hai inn cheezon ko padhne ka?" asked another one.
Saying that he was not mentally all there, he added, "I look like I¡¯m on medication. But I¡¯ve done so many interviews and I think I¡¯ve been medicated on some of them. Not been completely mentally all there sometimes.?
Saif Ali Khan, however, likes the fact that he was unpretentious and quite simple back in those days, just like how his son Ibrahim Ali Khan is at the moment. "I think at a certain age you should be unpretentious and simple, which I see in young Ibrahim also and I think it¡¯s nice. But to have the same attitude at a later age in life is not necessarily correct so I am very proud of that interview because that¡¯s who I was".
In the old interview of Saif, he talks about his favourite poets?Faiz and Ghalib, and soon backtracks his own statement.
Furthermore, talking about the books he has read, Said said, "I used to read Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead and all. And trashy reading... Ummm... Yeah I read a lot of stuff. From serious literature to rubbish. Even rubbish is good fun some times. Rubbish matlab P.G. Wodhouse. It's not rubbish at all but it's not intellectually very heavy."
