Bollywood's royal nawab Saif Ali Khan usually stays away from all the controversies, film fraternity indulges into. This time too when Sonu Nigam was attacked after he spoke on azaan?being played loudly on speakers, the industry took sides but Saif stayed mum.
But now speaking with a leading daily, the actor has shared his view point.
¡°It¡¯s fine to express your views on the decibel levels. I think that tweet was a bit aggressive though, initially. And I do think religion should be a private affair and we should be a secular country,¡± he added.
Sonu in a series of tweets had written about how he's forced to wake up to azaan sound. Yesterday, he even recorded a video where azaan could be heard at 5:30 in the morning from his house.
