Former Mumbai zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Sameer Wankhede, who grabbed much attention for arresting Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in a drug case last year, is making headlines once again.??
In a video that has gone viral on the internet, Wankhede can be seen speaking at an event to mark Independence Day in Mumbai. Singer Anoop Jalota was also present among others.
The officer spoke at length about increase in drug abuse among teenagers. Wankhede pointed out that young boys and girls these days are consuming drugs like 'chai¡¯ with their friends.
The video of the speech has gone viral on social media. While many lauded the former Mumbai zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau for his speech at the event, some users brutally trolled him for it.
Meanwhile, Sameer Wankhede, recently got a clean chit in the case related to his caste certificate, which was raised by former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik.
For those unversed, Sameer Wankhede grabbed spotlight after he arrested star kid Aryan Khan from a Mumbai cruise for allegedly consuming drugs along with a few others in October last year. However, reports reveal that he wrongly arrested SRK¡¯s son and was later transferred to Chennai for the same.
