Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the filmmaker enjoying the success of his recent release "Animal," has expressed his interest in collaborating with Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh.
In a Dainik Bhaskar interview, Sandeep expressed his keenness to collaborate with Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh. When asked if he had discussed this aspiration with Shah Rukh, Sandeep clarified that although they have met, he has not talked to him about it yet.
The director also disclosed that Shah Rukh had a positive response to the teaser of his film "Animal." Sandeep mentioned they didn't discuss his films, but Shah Rukh saw the teaser and liked it.
Reddy, recognised for "Arjun Reddy" and its Hindi adaptation "Kabir Singh," has allegedly also reached out to Salman Khan for his upcoming dark action crime thriller.
In a recent interview, Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan's ex-wife, criticised Vanga's film "Animal," triggering a response from Sandeep. She drew comparisons between "Animal," "Baahubali-2," and "Kabir Singh," accusing them of promoting negativity and harassment towards women.
When asked about Kiran Rao's comments, Sandeep responded by suggesting she revisit Aamir Khan's movie "Dil," pointing out a scene where Aamir's character stages an attempted assault that later transforms into a romantic storyline.
The film "Animal," starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika, garnered a mix of praise and criticism upon its release. Following its notable success at the box office, the movie has now become available for streaming on Netflix, offering viewers an extended opportunity to experience the film.
Additionally, progress is underway for the sequel to "Animal," titled "Animal Park." Simultaneously, director Reddy is gearing up to shoot "Spirit," an upcoming cop thriller featuring Prabhas, scheduled for production in the upcoming months.
The sequel's development is taking place concurrently, with the writing team drawing inspiration from Sandeep's outlined plot as they craft the script.
