SRK spent around 18 minutes with his son and used an intercom to interact with him inside the inmate meeting section of the jail. Sources claim that Aryan was distressed and emotional as he met someone from his immediate family for the first time since his arrest.?
As per the rules, SRK and Aryan Khan's meeting was supervised by the jail authorities. An inspector-level officer was also present at the spot. Due to security reasons, the area was also made vacant at the time Shah Rukh Khan visited.?
1. The inmates are separated from visitors in this section by a glass wall and can only use intercom services to interact.?
2. As per the jail rules, visitors are allowed a stipulated time of 20 minutes, but Shah Rukh Khan spent only 18 minutes.?
3. SRK and Aryan met through a divider in the form of a grill and glass wall, and close to five guards from the jail were present during the meeting.?
4. Relatives or advocates have to seek permission and inform the jail officials to meet prisoners or under-trials lodged inside the jail. Later on, after the approval, they are assigned a timing that they have to adhere to strictly.?
5. As per the rule, the visitor is asked to submit their Aadhaar card to the jail officials, who then note down the details. A token is assigned to the visitor, which he/she needs to carry during their visit. Shah Rukh Khan followed all these rules.?
The rules of meeting inmates changed from 21st October as no in-person meetings were allowed before owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jail inmates were only allowed video calling, and this was followed since last year.
