Superstar Shah Rukh Khan had once predicted that audiences will lose interest in Bollywood movies and had even warned the directors of the industry to change with the times.?
Shah Rukh was on a hiatus after the release of his 2018 film Zero, which features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The movie became one of SRK's biggest flops.?However, it was another project that represented the culmination of a new creative spree for Shah Rukh Khan after RaOne which was released almost 10 years ago.?
The actor wants to leave a mark by bringing a change in the industry with the usage of technology. Shah Rukh had produced and also featured in the superhero adventure flick titled RaOne which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. The film was a VFX-heavy project similar to his film Fan and Zero.?
However, none of them fared well at the box office. Moreover, as reported by Indian Express, during the interview with Preity Zinta back in 2011, Shah Rukh had already predicted the kind of conversations among the moviegoers that are happening now, when Bollywood is going through a poor phase.?
The actor further said, Ą°I want to leave something in this industry which is beyond films, and it takes our films worldwide. I can control the technology, that was one reason I made Ra.One."He also went on to say that he is friends with some of the biggest filmmakers, but theyĄ¯re "quite foolish" as they only want to make films on romance.?
On the work front, SRK will be next seen in Pathaan. He was last seen in a cameo in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles apart from Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna.?
