Mukesh Khanna, the OG Shaktimaan who recently announced his comeback in the iconic role, took to social media to clarify what he calls a "misconception" circulating among his fans and followers, amid massive trolling in his name. Ever since Khanna has released a teaser and announced Shaktimaan's return, fans are slamming him asking him to ruin their childhood. Meanwhile, he has also taken a dig at Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar and fans are again unhappy with his strong statements.
In the long note, he clarified that he is not the next Shaktimaan but the only one. "Without me there can not be other Shaktimaan," he wrote. He also said that he doesn't want to compete with Ranveer Singh, rumoured to be playing the superhero in a three-part film, or prove that he is better than him. Thirdly, he said that he is only returning to pass on the teachings of the hero to a new generation. Khanna believes that society is facing a moral crisis and "so the need of the hour is, this message should be urgently passed." Lastly, he said that the hunt for a new Shaktimaan is on.?
In an interview with?ABP¡¯s Entertainment Live, Khanna said that neither Akshay, Tiger, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan or Ajay Devgn can play the superhero because they don't have that image. Insulting Shroff, he said, "Forgive me, but if Tiger Shroff tells a child to flush the toilet as Shaktimaan, the kid will turn around and say to him, ¡®Tu baith jaa (Sit down)".?
About Kumar, in another interview, he said, "Prithviraj Chauhaan kyun nahi lage Akshay Kumar? Sirf?muchein aur wig lagaake thodi na ban sakte hai? Ek gait chahiye (Why doesn¡¯t Akshay Kumar look like Prithviraj Chauhan? Just adding a mustache and wig isn¡¯t enough, right? There needs to be a certain presence)".
