Since Salman Khan was accused of shooting two blackbucks in 1998, he has deeply offended the Bishnoi community. Over the years, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has issued multiple threats to him. Earlier this year, gunshots were fired at the Bollywood superstar's house. Not just Khan, his father Salim Khan has also received multiple threats. Following the murder of Khan¡¯s close friend and politician Baba Siddique, the danger has resurfaced. Amid these tensions, the Bishnoi community has once again urged Salman Khan to apologise stating they are willing to forgive him if he does.
Inderjeet Bishnoi, who is the secretary of Bishnoi Sabha has said,?"If Salman comes to Mukam with his security, the temple will be cleared to allow him to seek forgiveness privately & respectfully."
Previously as well, the Bishnoi community as well as Lawrence Bishnoi had urged Khan to apologise at?Mukam Mukti Dham Temple. He even said that he will forgive him if he did so. "Our Bishnoi community has a temple¡ªMukam Mukti Dham Temple¡ªjust go there and seek forgiveness in our temple saying 'whatever happened, whether it was intentional or unintentional, whether it happened or not, only God knows, but since there are allegations against me, I apologize.' The sentiments of this community have been hurt," he said.
"Should he is the question?On one hand, it's simple, if you've hurt the sentiments of a community, no harm in going to their temple and apologising.On the other hand does one give into extortion? And if one does, where does the line end?", one of them wrote.?"Salman Khan will apologize let's assume, uss ke baad will Bishnoi stop hounding him. He might start asking for money, threatening his family, etc," said another one.
