According to director James Cameron, "Avatar: Fire and Ash" (Avatar 3) will be longer than the first film, which ran for more than three hours.?
?"In a nutshell, we had too many great ideas packed into act one of movie 2. The film was moving like a bullet train, and we weren¡¯t drilling down enough on character. So I said, 'Guys, we¡¯ve got to split it.' Movie 3 will actually be a little bit longer than movie 2,¡¯¡± he told the Empire magazine.?
The co-writer of Avatar: The Way of Water, along with James Cameron and Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, discussed why she believes the first two Avatar films are so different. She highlighted the characters' depth and underlined that the movies are much more than just action-packed stories and breathtaking scenery. She clarified that these characters are representations of actual human experiences, influenced by recollections of early life, the difficulties of parenthood, and people's past and present mistakes.
