'9 Years Without You': Meadow Walker Remembers Dad Paul Walker On His 9th Death Anniversary

Losing a parent leaves a gaping hole in one's heart. It's the grief of a lifetime. Nine years after her sad loss, Meadow Walker remembered her beloved father, Paul Walker.

The 24-year-old model posted a poignant tribute to her late father online, accompanied by a black-and-white photo of the two bowling together.

"(Nine) years without you. I love you so much, my angel," she wrote to her 3.7 million Instagram followers.

On her Instagram Story, Meadow wrote, "I love you, daddy."

He was best known for his role as Brian O'Conner in the "Fast and Furious" trilogy. He was in his forties at the time.

Meadow was just 15 years old when the tragic accident occurred and was the only kid he ever had.

In an exclusive interview, the model spoke with Page Six about how she honors her late father's legacy by living her life, revealing that she finds comfort in watching his movies.

"They always say the first thing you forget about someone is their voice, so I’m fortunate enough to have his voice in many movies," 24-year model told Page Six exclusively at WSJ Magazine’s Innovator Awards on Wednesday.

"I like to watch [his movies] at night. For me, it brings me joy to talk about him and keep his spirit alive."

Despite their little time together, she revealed how much Paul had meant to her.

"He was seriously my best friend, my confidante, my everything," she said. "I feel like he’s always with me."

Vin Diesel also shared a photo of himself with his fellow "Fast and Furious" co-star and "dear" fried Paul Walker on his Instagram account."Nine years … love you and miss you."

On November 30, 2013, Walker died after a car crash at 40.?

According to Fox News, a USA-based news outlet, at the scene of the accident, a Porsche Carrera GT was found engulfed in flames when deputies reached the scene.

As per the new outlet, following Walker’s death, Diesel spoke about the loss of his friend and said during an appearance on the SiriusXM show in 2017, “I’m still reeling from the loss, the idea of continuing along without my brother Pablo and what that felt like and the complexities of that.”

“If I ever had a concern of something I would call him. And I don’t have that call now, and I don’t have that person that’s dreaming up the impossible with me. One of the things that makes this film so magical, the relationships are so powerful that they bleed off screen…”

Walker is survived by his daughter, Meadow. Diesel, Meadow’s godfather, walked her down the aisle when she got married in October 2021.?
