Actress Kriti Sanon, who marked her Bollywood debut with Heropanti, is celebrating eight years of her Bollywood career in a new style. In a latest development, the Bachchhan Paandey actress has announced that she is embarking upon a new journey, but this time, as an entrepreneur.?
According to reports, Kriti Sanon is launching a fitness app called The Tribe. The actress has taken this initiative after discovering her passion for fitness while filming her last movie, Mimi, where she played a pregnant woman. The diva had to undergo a physical transformation to look fit for the character.?
"I have always been someone who believes in pushing people I truly believe in and today stands for exactly that," the actress wrote on her official Instagram handle.?
Earlier, the actress opened up about sexism in Bollywood and said that male actors weren't willing to share screen space in a film where she had a bigger role. "There are very, very few who would let others share screen space equally. I¡¯ve been in situations where most men were not willing to do a film where 60% was me and 40% was a male actor¡¯s role. Nobody was willing to do it. So, I obviously think that these things need to change a little," Kriti Sanon had stated.?
Kriti Sanon made her debut in acting with a Telugu psychological thriller titled Nenokkadine in 2014. Her debut Bollywood film was Heropanti which also released the same year. Some of her recent Bollywood projects include - Luka Chuppi (2019) alonside Kartik Aaryan, Mimi (2021), Sajid Nadiadwala's production Heropanti 2 (2022) alongside Tiger Shroff. She will be next seen in the upcoming movie Adipurush alongside south star and Baahubali fame Prabhas and Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The film is slated to hit theaters next year in January.?
