The filming of Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi's upcoming movie "Ramayana" is underway in Mumbai. According to a report by News18, the working title of the film is "God Power." The filming might extend beyond the initially planned schedule, with Ranbir expected to start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Love And War" by August or September.
To prevent leaks, the "Ramayana" team has tightened security on the set. They have covered the sets and moved filming indoors after unauthorised photos of Ranbir and Sai Pallavi were taken despite a no-phone policy. The team has now installed curtains and increased surveillance to avoid further leaks.
News18 reported that Ranbir Kapoor will continue shooting for "Ramayana" while preparing for "Love And War" in the latter half of August or early September. Alia Bhatt will be busy filming a spy thriller with Sharvari Wagh during this time. Ranbir will engage in script readings and discussions with Bhansali before starting the shoot. Bhansali plans to begin filming "Love And War" in Mumbai, but the set is yet to be built. The first part of the "Ramayana" trilogy is expected to wrap up by November.
Bhansali is personally involved in planning elaborate song sequences for "Love And War," though it is not yet known when Vicky Kaushal, another star of the film, will join the shoot.
