While the speculations have been floating around for a long time now, especially after fans thought she was hiding the baby bump at the BAFTA awards where she presented an award, Deepika Padukone has confirmed she is indeed pregnant. The actress took to Instagram to announce the due date, which is September 2024. Congratulating the couple, actress Kubrra Sait wrote, "Ohhhhh break the internet TODAY ? CONGRATULATIONS." Vikrant Massey who worked with Deepika in Chhapaak wrote, "OMGGGGGGG!!!! Bahut bahut shubhkamnaen aap dono ko!". Fashion designer Manish Malhotra also wrote, "Congratulations".

Alanna Panday and Ivor McCray who got married last year announced that the couple is all set to become parents.
