Reliance Entertainment and Jio Studios recently bought stakes in the film which will release around Independence Day 2024.
2. SSMB 29
This temporarily titled film is one of the most anticipated films of Deepika Padukone. This will mark the historic collaboration between south superstar Mahesh Babu and Oscar-award-winning filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The film will be a thrilling forest adventure whose shooting will commence in 2024.
3. Fighter
Pathaan director Siddharth Anand will next arrive with this action thriller. This one-of-a-kind aerial actioner will hit the theatres around Republic Day 2024 and will feature Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor alongside Deepika.
4. Kalki 2898-A.D
This high-budgeted epic science fiction film is written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Other than Deepika, this film also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani and Pasupathy. For the unversed, Kalki 2898-A.D is the most expensive film ever made in history with a budget of Rs 600 crores.
5. Brahmastra 2
This Ayan Mukherji directorial will reportedly feature Deepika playing the character of Amrita who is Ranbir Kapoor¡¯s on-screen mother. Brahmastra 2 will release around December 2026 reportedly also featuring Ranveer Singh.
6. Jawan
Deepika¡¯s most recent release will be this one which will hit theatres on 7th September 2023. Starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, the teaser of this Atlee directorial featured Deepika fighting goons in a saree.?
7. The Intern
This one¡¯s an Indian remake of a popular 2015 American film by the same name. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, this comedy-drama will also feature Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles.
