The Officers Training Academy (OTA) has honoured Sivakarthikeyan for his performance in the Tamil? blockbuster Amaran. The biographical drama features the actor in the role of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was martyred in Kashmir in 2014. Amaran, the brainchild of Rangoon helmer? Rajkumar Perisamy is a tribute to the late Major Mukund Varadarajan. The braveheart was martyred in Kashmir in 2014 after being serously injured in an intense military operation. Amaran features Sai Pallavi as the leading lady and marks her first collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan. Its cast includes Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Shyamaprasad, and Rohman Shawl.
