Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to social media on Saturday, December 14,? to wish him on the occasion of his 40th birthday. The Citadel Honey Bunny actress said that he has always inspired her with his dedication towards work.?

Samantha was previously married to Naga Chaitainya, who is Rana’s cousin. She is on good terms with the Rana Naidu actor despite the fact that she parted ways with the Yuva Samrat in 2021, nearly four years after they tied the knot amid much fanfare. In fact, Rana and Samantha recently shared a light moment during award function when the actress jokingly warned him against pulling her leg.?

Busy time for Sam and Rana

On the work front, Samantha was last seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny. The web series marked her first collaboration with Varun Dhawan and received favourable reviews with critics lauding her performance. She is currently working on Rakht Brahmand, co-starring Ali Fazal and Aditya Roy Kapur.?

Rana, on the other hand, will soon be seen in Jai Hanuman. The film features Rishab Shetty as Lord Hanuman and is a sequel to the Sankranti blockbuster HanuMan.?
