Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad was high on the buzzword ever since its teaser dropped unveiling the actress's look as Agent Agni. The film, however, hasn't fared well at the box office and it is also being reported that some shows of the film in theatres were replaced by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.?
Responding to one of Tehseen's tweets, actress Richa Chadha expressed her views on the incident. She wrote, "Aligning with power is easy and has obvious rewards like tax exemptions ,awards, special status, security-even literally the Legislature promoting a film!So do you not know that the reverse also holds true Tehseen?Ppl are expressing dissent in whatever way they can. So chill."
In another tweet, Richa Chadha mentioned how it is 'morally wrong' to celebrate the failure of a film. However, she also wrote that the same happens with almost everyone in the industry. She wrote, "Yes. It's morally wrong and also because thousands of people work on a film. But also, it happens. And to everyone."
Dhaakad is an action-packed film that stars Kangana in?the role of a brave spy who will stop at nothing to get what she wants.?Ever since the teaser of the film was unveiled, Kangana has received a lot of praise for her look in the film. The film also stars Divya Dutta and Arjun Rampal.
Ahead of the release of the film, Kangana was making headlines for buying a swanky Mercedes Maybach.??A video of the actress was doing rounds on social media in which she is seen cutting the ribbon of her brand new car and saying, "I look like just married."
Kangana appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote her film.?The comedian, on his YouTube channel, shared an 'uncensored' video from the episode. In the video, Kangana Ranaut could be seen telling the audience that most of the crew of Dhaakad consisted of foreigners.?After this, Kapil was seen asking Kangana if she planned to help them make their (the foreign crew's) Bollywood debut or was trying to plan for her debut in Hollywood.?
Kangana?replied and said, "Humare yaha pe itne talented log hai na, to humme kahin aane jaane ki zarurat nahi hai. Ab jaise ki, world has become one place na, to sab log yaha kaam kare, waha ke log yaha pe kaam kar rahe hai. (We have a lot of talent here so we don¡¯t need to go anywhere. The world has become one place now and a lot of people are coming from other places to India and working here)."
Dhaakad is directed by?Razneesh Ghai and recorded the opening day collections of Rs 65 lakhs.?
