As Sahil Khan faces new allegations regarding his involvement in the Mahadev betting scandal, a past incident resurfaces, casting a shadow over his reputed dedication to health and fitness. Previously, Sahil Khan was implicated in a legal drama when former Mr. India, Manoj Patil, attempted suicide and mentioned Khan in his note.?The incident unfolded when Patil, a renowned bodybuilder, was found in critical condition at his Mumbai home and was rushed to Cooper Hospital for urgent care. In his distressing suicide note, Patil specifically named Sahil Khan, accusing him of harassment. This accusation stemmed from a complaint Patil had earlier lodged at the Oshiwara Police Station.
The dispute reportedly began over a social media issue involving another individual, Raj Faujdar. Faujdar had accused Patil of selling him expired steroids, which allegedly led to health complications. He sought Sahil Khan's help, who then used his social media platform to support Faujdar's claims and call for action against steroid misuse. According to Khan, he merely provided a voice to someone he believed was wronged, emphasising the dangers of the illegal steroids market.
Khan expressed confusion over why Patil did not mention Faujdar directly in his allegations but chose instead to target him (Khan). He refuted any direct association or financial transactions with Patil, suggesting that the accusations might have been a desperate attempt for attention, possibly with a communal twist.
Moreover, Khan highlighted the broader issue of steroid abuse and scams within the fitness industry, criticising the focus on Patil's attempted suicide over these pressing concerns.
As Sahil Khan now navigates the complications of the Mahadev betting case investigation, these past allegations paint a complex picture of the fitness icon's ongoing legal challenges and his role within the community.
Sahil Khan has been remanded to police custody until May 1,a following his arrest in connection with the Mahadev betting app case. The special investigation team (SIT) in Mumbai detained Khan in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday after his bail plea was rejected by the Bombay High Court.
