The RRR fever is still making headlines as the SS Rajamouli directorial reached the Rs 400 crore mark in India within four days. Not just down south, people in northern India are also celebrating the film and are going gaga over the impeccable performances, gripping storyline, songs, and a lot more. The film stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan in leading roles and also marks Telugu film debut of Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn.
Superstar Salman Khan, who will be making his Telugu film debut with Chiranjeevi's Godfather, talked about his experience of working in the film. He also wondered why Bollywood films fail to perform in the South while their films do well at box offices here.?
While speaking at a media interaction, TOI quoted Salman Khan as saying, "The experience of working with?Chiranjeevi?was very good. I have known Chiru garu for a long time. He and his son are both my good friends.?Ram Charan?has done fantastic work in 'RRR', I just wished him on his birthday and for the success of his film. I am very proud of him and I feel good when these guys succeed and their films do well.¡±
Further talking about how Telugu films are suited for the Pan-India audience, Salman Khan said,?¡°The films made in the South make a play on heroism, they tell stories that make larger than life heroes. But with our films some people say that it's clich¨¦d and we need to be realistic. Main toh vaisi hi larger than life hero wali filmein karta hoon (I¡¯ve been making films with larger-than-life heroes all along).¡±
Coming to Godfather, the film stars Chiranjeevi in the lead role and is directed by?Mohan Raja.?Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana also play pivotal roles in the film.??
