Sankranthiki Vasthunam went on the floors last July. It was extensively shot in cities such as Hyderabad, Dehradun, and Rishikesh. The shoot was wrapped up just over 2 months later. The film¡¯s budget is said to be around Rs 50 crore.?

Sankranthiki Vasthunam is an action comedy that features Venkatesh as YD Raju, a retired IPS officer. He lives happily with Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh), his wife, and enjoys the small joys of life.?
His world is turned upside down when his ex-girlfriend Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary) asks him to help her investigate a case. Things take another surprising turn when Bhagyalakshmi decides to accompany the two on the operation as he wants to keep an eye on her husband.?

Sankranthiki Vasthunam features Venkatesh in the lead. ¡®Venky Mama¡¯, who has been an integral part of Telugu cinema since the 1980s, is best known to the younger audience for his work his films such as F2 and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. In recent years, he has also starred in movies like Naarappa, Venky Mama, and Guru.?
He is joined by Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary. The ¡®Chennai Ponnu¡¯ rose to fame with her work in Kaaka Muttai and Vada Chennai.
