Sankranthiki Vasthunam Lifetime Box Office Collection: Venkatesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary recently headlined a Telugu film which emerged as a winner. Released theatrically on 14th January this year, Sankranthiki Vasthunam is ready to stream on Zee5 starting March 1. Before the comedy debuts on OTT, here¡¯s a look at its box office performance and lifetime collection.
According to Sacnilk, Sankranthiki Vasthunam had a dream run of 41 days and took a worldwide gross of Rs 252.88 crore home. The domestic net was calculated as Rs 217.48 crore, India's net at Rs 184.72 crore and overseas collections of Rs 35.4 crore. For those upset with the film¡¯s only Telugu release, the OTT version will now host its Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada versions as well.

Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, Sankranthiki Vasthunam is cinematographed by Sameer Reddy and edited by Tammiraju. This Bheems Ceciroleo musical also starred Aishwarya Rajesh, Sarvadaman D. Banerjee, Srinivasa Reddy, P. Sai Kumar, Upendra Limaye, Naresh, VTV Ganesh and Srinivas Avasarala among others.
The audiences loved the movie largely in theatres eventually convincing the makers to officially announce a sequel of it. A part of The Hindu¡¯s review read, ¡°Logical reasoning and political correctness can take a backseat. Sankranthiki Vasthunam does not take itself seriously. A social message towards the end is presented without an overtly preachy tone. Some portions of the humour in the film might be absurd and tiresome, but the movie largely works as a fun outing.¡±
