Video: Mohan Babu breaks reporter's facial bone amid family feud; admits himself to hospital following an FIR
Once a megastar now steps outside his house to beat people. Manchu Bhakthavatsalam Naidu aka Mohan Babu seems to be living his movie＊s character in real life and losing calm all over social media, police station and at his residence. The midnight of December 10 saw a massive scuffle taking place outside the Telugu actor＊s Hyderabad residence when he first greeted all media personnel with joined hands and within a second let all hell break loose.
Mohan Babu attacks journalists off-guard
The 72-year-old recently filed a police complaint against his son Manchu Manoj for alleged assault and many more things and reporters arrived to ask him about the same. Before the journalists came, Manoj attempted to enter the house for a long time and eventually broke the gate to enter the residence. He was followed by reporters on the premises who claimed Mohan Babu himself invited them.
When a TV9 Telugu reporter asked him about the feud, he got enraged, grabbed his mic and hit the same on his face. The man named Ranjith fell down and was soon rushed to a Shamshabad hospital. According to doctors, he has suffered three fractures in the zygomatic bone (cheekbone) and needs plastic surgery. As of now, several journalists are protesting in front of the Film Chamber office demanding serious action against Mohan Babu.
Cops file FIR against Mohan Babu as he rushed to hospital
Soon after the incident, Mohan himself reached a nearby hospital and got himself admitted, which many believe to be another PR stunt like most of his actions. Pahadi Shareef Police Station has registered a case under Bharat Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Section 118 (1) (causing hurt with dangerous weapons or substances). The FIR was registered on a complaint by M. Satyanarayana, a reporter for TV9.
