FDCI's Hyundai India Couture Week ended today with a bang. Designers Falguni Shane Peacock closed the fashion fiesta that lasted 8 days in the capital.?
The collection was named ¡®Rang Mahal¡¯ and personifying the name the show was set in a palace-like setting that was all lilac.?It is a haute couture collection that draws inspiration from India's royal heritage, both regal and mystical.?
"Rang Mahal," or "Palace of Colours," draws on fifty prominent themes from India's rich history, including majestic palaces, luxurious lifestyles, and beautiful craftsmanship.
Luxurious silks, velvets, and elaborate embroideries reflect the grandeur of royal courts. Each piece is a testament to the timeless elegance and sophistication of India's regal heritage, created by master artisans who carry on their predecessors' traditions.
This collection's sarees incorporate textile-led crafts, such as Kanjivaram silks, which are known for their sumptuous texture and exquisite designs and are woven with real gold and silver zari thread.
The Falguni Shane Peacock monogram woven into the saree and dupatta borders distinguishes the range, making it absolutely unique.
In addition, the capsule has Banarasi brocade lehengas and Chikankari, which are expertly paired with Falguni Shane Peacock's distinctive embellishments.

Actor Rashmika Mandanna opened the show for the designer showcasing the opening look. She wore a white embellished lehenga with a train of a sleek sheer dupatta.?
To close the show actor Vicky Kaushal walked the ramp in a shimmering ivory sherwani with matching pants.?
