Lohagad fort - Itis a part of Western Ghats and lies at Lonavala. Lohagad is one of the manyhill forts of Maharashtra state which rises to an elevation of 3,389 ft abovesea level.
The fort is connected to the neighboring Visapur fort by asmall range. It is advisable to have the best footwear as the mountains canreally get very slippery during the monsoon.
The main attraction of the fort is "Vinchoo Point".This point resembles the look of a scorpion's tail.

Rajmachi can be reached by 2 ways, the tough route is fromKondivade village near Karjat and it involves climb-up of about 2000 feet.
