Italian supercar maker Lamborghini?is famous for building fast, sexy supercars. The current offerings include the rabid Aventador hypercar and the smaller but equally mental Huracan. Joining the ranks now is an SUV, the Urus.
Lamborghini
Like other Lambos, the Urus has a mish-mash of jagged edges, sharp lines and big air vents ¨C the supercar family look if you will. In profile, Urus looks more like a sports car on stilts, something accentuated by the slim window line. The muscular haunches and angled wheel arches again are typical Lamborghini details.

Given that it wears the raging bull logo on the hood, there¡¯s no doubting that the Urus will be a fast car. But Lamborghini has gone all out to declare that it will be the fastest SUV in the world when it goes on sale next year. Its top speed? 305 km/h! It will also do a 0-100 km/h sprint in a measly 3.6 seconds.
Lamborghini
It¡¯ll also be one of the most powerful production SUVs in the world with 650 hp output from the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. Lamborghini says the Urus is ¡®suitable for everyday driving in a range of environments¡¯. Driving a V8 supercar sedately is the last thing any owner will want to do.

For those who do end up exploring the Urus¡¯ SUV capabilities, there¡¯s the de rigueur four-wheel-drive system and even four-wheel steering for better handling.
Lamborghini
This,?however, isn¡¯t the first time Lamborghini has built an SUV. The company¡¯s last SUV offering was the LM002 that was powered by the Countach¡¯s V12 engine. So Lamborghini knows a thing or two about making manic SUVs.
