The board has announced that 1,633,730 students registered for this year's Class 12 board exam, with 1,621,224 actually appearing for the exams. Out of these, 1,426,420 students have successfully passed the exam. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 is 87.98%, showing an improvement from last year's 87.33%.
CBSE conducted the Class 12 exams from February 15 to April 2, while the Class 10 board exams took place from February 15 to March 13, conducted in a pen-and-paper format. Students can access their Class 12 and 10 results for 2024 online by entering their date of birth, roll code, and roll number.

Despite a general upward trend in pass percentages over the last five years, there was a slight drop in the Class 12 results in 2023. The pass percentage last year stood at 87.33%, which was lower compared to the previous year's 92.71%.
