The Mukhya Mantri Research Fellowship Test (MRFT) is a standardised examination aimed at identifying exceptional research talents across Odisha¡¯s public universities.?
The main objective of the Mukhya Mantri Research Fellowship Test (MRFT) is to design and conduct a model test and evaluation system in the number of subjects being pursued leading to a PhD degree in Odisha.?
The MRFT will be held by the State Selection Board (SSB) under the state's higher education department.?
The web portal for applications was opened on 2 December 2023. The last date to apply online is December 30.?Candidates can apply for the MRFT through the 'Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal'.?
The date of the examination will be notified by the higher education department prior to 10 days the exam day.?
The MRFT exam will have a single paper with multiple choice questions (MCQs) on general knowledge, research aptitude, logical reasoning, subject knowledge and analytical abilities.?
The test will be for a total of 100 marks and it will be a 2-hour duration test.?
The question paper will have two parts:?
Part-A will be of 30 marks with questions from general knowledge, research aptitude and logical reasoning.?
Part-B will be of 70 marks with questions from the concerned subject as well as analytical questions.?
Candidates who have completed their bachelors and master's degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized university with a first division or grade equivalent in the concerned subject are eligible to apply.?
Those who are successful in the examination will be eligible for the fellowship provided they complete all formalities like pre-PhD courses and registration under a supervisor.? ? ? ??
