ISRO's U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) has announced an exciting Robotics Challenge for students.?
With a tagline of "Let's build a space robot", the ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 (IRoC-U 2024) was announced on 8 November 2023. Registration submission begins on 20 November 2023 and ends on 15 December 2023.?
The final ISRO Robotics Challenge Day is August 5 and 6, 2024.?
The ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 consists of an engineering project where the Institutional teams build robots to compete in an extra-terrestrial-inspired arena, performing tasks based on the real-life challenges faced by space robotics.?
The challenge aims to provide the country's students with a greater opportunity to deliver innovative solutions to space robotics.?
This challenge is a milestone-based event with continuous evaluation till the completion of the field event. The list of milestones, along with important dates, are given below:?

The first three teams will be awarded based on evaluation by the jury and the teams' fair play attitude. Additionally, two consolation prizes will be given.?
Further, each team qualifying for the Field Round and participating on the challenge day will receive financial assistance of Rs 2.0 Lakhs.
