In a shameful act where humanity failed yet again, a man was thrown out of a bus after his ailing wife died onboard in the Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh.?
The incident happened when Ram Singh Lodhi was taking his sick wife, Malli Bai to Damoh for her treatment. Unfortunately, his wife passed away during the journey, following which the bus conductor asked the other passengers if they were comfortable journeying with a corpse. Upon their protests, he forced the man, his newborn baby and old mother out of the bus.?

The stranded family was found by two lawyers, Mrityunjay Hazari and Rajesh Patel, who upon seeing their plight, called them a private ambulance so that they could return home to Chattarpur.?
The family was stranded in the rains for over eight hours. Two policemen, who inquired what happened, too didn't offer any help to the distressed family and went about their way.
According to sources,?Minister Kusum Mahdale?in charge of the Damoh district said that strict action will be taken against the driver and the conductor.?
The incident came to light just days after a man in Odisha had to carry his wife's dead body on his shoulder.
