Delhi's oldest and largest garbage dump Ghazipur often makes it to the news for all the wrong reasons like accident fire and sometimes collapses. But for a change, this time the landfill which has been operational since 1984 made headlines for a different reason - the reviews it is getting on Google.
On Google where users can rate and review locations, the garbage dump is getting such hilarious reviews that if you are not familiar with the area would mistake it for the most scenic and must-see sight in the national capital.

"Must go place with your friends, family and business partners," another termed it the "best location for a family outing".?
"Do try the Punjabi salad at the food court here," wrote another user.
"This mountain is a treat to watch, why we drive to hilly places to see hills. we have our own mountain here made by us in collaboration with the government. Trekking with the help of plastic is a must do activity.
You can also do bungee jumping here, and the main part is it is free. It has the best amusement park in India," wrote another user while another called it "The Great Great Mountain of Garbage".

As of 2018 the landfill which is spread over an area of 29 acres stood at a height of 65 metres which is just eight metres less than the height Qutub Minar. At this pace, it is only a matter of time before the garbage dump overtakes the Qutub Minar, the tallest minaret in India as most of the waste generated in east Delhi, central Delhi and the old quarters of the city end up there.
A constant source of air pollution and accidents, nearly one percent of the "over-saturated" Ghazipur landfill collapsed in September 2017, claiming two lives.?
The reviews on Google seems like an attempt to highlight, ironically, the unhygienic place that gives off a particularly powerful stench.??
