Clashes between farmers and? group of people claiming to be locals broke out at Singhu border (which connects Delhi and Haryana) on Friday afternoon. The police have yet again resorted lathicharge and tear gas, as per reports.?
The group?claiming to be local villagers?pelted stones, attacked the women camps and vandalised tents so as to sabotage farmers' protest.
The group has been protesting at the site since Thursday morning, demanding that the area be vacated.?They complained that the two-month-long agitation has made their daily commute difficult.?
As per reports, eyewitnesses say riot police and RAF stationed at the protest site stood there as mute spectators while the clashes broke out.
Singhu border is the biggest protest site out of the other three where farmers have been protesting against the three 'draconian' farm laws passed in September 2020. The farmers have been on the roads, staging protests since November 28, 2020.??
Alipur SHO has been injured after the scuffle broke out at the border where farmers have been protesting against farm laws for over two months. According to the inputs, the Alipur SHO was allegedly attacked with a sword.?
It is unclear if the man who attacked the SHO is a protester or an outsider. He has been arrested. The Delhi Police, in turn, can be seen thrashing protesters at the site. Here's a video.

The scuffle comes after?Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee (KMSC) leader Satnam Singh Pannu claimed that the central government is sending Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) affiliated people to instigate clashes at the protest site.?
"Modi government is using sick tactics to delegitimise our movement. They are sending the RSS people to instigate clashes here; they did it two times yesterday. We will make sacrifices but not go back until and unless the laws are repealed," Pannu told ANI at the Singhu border.
Farmer unions on Thursday took out a ¡®Sadbhavna rally¡¯ from the Singhu border in Delhi to reinforce a sense of unity among the protestors. Numerous tractors along with two wheelers with the national flag took part in 16 km long rally which went up till the beginning of the Kundli-Manesar Palwal highway.?
Farmer leaders Daljeet Singh Dallewal, Darshan Pal among many others said that the march was organised to counter the forces that were trying to divide the protesting farmers along religious lines and as per states, and to also show that they respected the tricolour.
