Delhi on Tuesday witnessed a rather unique marriage, where two history-sheeters started a life together as man and wife.
Gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi married Anuradha Choudhary alias Madam Minz in a banquet hall in Delh's Dwarka on Tuesday.
The unusual wedding was witnessed by a large contingent of Delhi Police who made fool-proof arrangements for the event due to security concerns.
Sandeep, who is a close associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is facing over a dozen cases of robbery, murders, attempt to murder, extortions and arms Act in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh was brought to the wedding venue by the Delhi Police, from Tihar jail.
Anuradha, a former close confidante of slain gangster Anandpal Singh, is facing over half-a-dozen cases in Rajasthan and Delhi and is currently out on bail. Reached the venue driving a black Mahindra Scorpio SUV.
The duo's love story began in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, where Anuradha met Sandeep through a common associate Vicky Singh.
The marriage ceremony started with 'jaimala' and was followed by rituals, which were witnessed by about 50 guests, Delhi Police officers, lawyers and the couple's family members.
According to reports some 250 policemen along with SWAT (Special Weapons and Techniques) commandos carrying hi-tech weapons were deployed in and around the venue.
Sandeep entered into a new life on Tuesday after getting a six-hour parole.
For marriage, Sandeep wore kurta-pajama with a half jacket on it while Anuradha wore a pink colour saree.
After the wedding ceremony, Sandeep was taken back to the Tihar jail by the Delhi Police.
As they began a new life together, the duo has reportedly expressed the desire to renounce their past.
Anuradha who is taking care of Sandeep's parents in Sonipat is also pursuing law and wishes to fight her husband's case in court.
