It's been over a week since the first COVID vaccine shots were administered in India among health workers and doctors. The average individual of course will take some time to get that vaccine. Needless to say, there are a lot of opinions on the vaccine. With people developing side-effects and also some deaths occurring, some are wondering if the vaccine is the life-saver that it is meant to be.?
To seek some answers, Indiatimes spoke to the millennial generation from none other than the City of Joy. Right, we are talking of Kolkata. We spoke to a bunch of them but 11 of them came up with some interesting answers, be it from the bizarre to the ridiculous. A few even made sense.?
So what did these 11 Kolkata millennials have to say? Let's find out?
1. Malini (28) - I am not risking it, I know nothing about the vaccine?
2. Aritra (28) - Will take it if it is free, I have no wish to pay for it?
3. Abhisek (33) - Is it even safe? I need to be assured that it has been tested properly before I take it?
4. Arnab (26) - I think the vaccine is more dangerous than COVID and a risk to my health?
5. Sangeeta (32) - Not sure of what I am going to do, let's give it time and see what happens?
6. Ashima (33) - I will certainly take it. The fear of COVID is causing problems and it is time to fight back?
7. Sheldon (34) - Can't wait for it. Even if I have to pay I am willing. Safety first.?
8. Meenakshi (31) - It's about time we had a vaccine. I just hope there is enough to roll out?
9. Shendil (22) - Let's be realistic, it will take a while for the vaccine to reach us, so why get all worked up about it now??
10. Joel (29) - Don't know if it's legit and at the rate the virus is mutating, how do we know the vaccine will work??
11. Santosh (30) - I am eager to take it, because I cannot keep on living in fear, I need some sense of security. ?
