There have been many instances of people violating lockdown orders in various states, with police having to be to vigil to prevent any unnecessary movement.
In many cases related to violations of restrictions, police have had to resort to using their batons and detain those wandering around for no reasonably purpose. But Karnataka police have found the ideal punishment for those violating rules.?
The police in the state is making people clean public places for violating lockdown orders. Prime example of it was seen in Mandya district where the violators were made to the clean the Devirammanni Lake on the outskirts of the town, a report in the Hindu stated.
That is one innovative way of ensuring the violators are punished and also the nature is taken care of. Karnataka police is not the only one with unique ideas, other state forces coming up with unorthodox ways to punish those disobeying restrictions.?
Just yesterday, Rajasthan Police showed their witty self with the kind of punishment?that will be meted out to those violating lockdown orders.?
In a post on Twitter, Jaipur Police said that if people are found "roaming outside their house unnecessarily," the person will be put in a room where Masakali 2.0 will be played on loop.?
Well, that is some punishment, of course. Jaipur Police altered the lyrics of Masakali slightly and used it in the caption of the post. "Mat udiyo, tu dariyo. Na kar manmani, manmani. Ghar mein hi rahiyo, naa kar naadani. Ae masakali, masakali," Jaipur Police tweeted.??
Well, police across states is showing you don't necessarily have to use batons to prevent people from breaking restrictions, you can use unconventional methods to punish those not following orders.?
