Airports Authority of lndia (AAI) carries customer satisfaction survey through an external agency in all 52 airports owned by AAl. Mangaluru lnternational Airport is also one of the airport under this group.

Every six months, the survey is being carried out. Survey is mainly based on its performance, staff performance, facilities, cleanliness, infrastructure and airline/customs/immigration, security staff performance with respect to passengers.

The Customer Satisfaction Survey -Round-ll (July-December) 2016 was carried out at all 52 Airports out of which Mangaluru lnternational Airport overall customer satisfaction rating stood at 4.72 out of 5 point scale and stood in the third place compared to that of last year's rating of 4.56 round I (Jan-June 2016), at an all lndia level.

On the top position, Chandigarh Airport with a rating of 4.86 was followed by Raipur in the second position with a rating of 4.82 followed by Mangaluru and Udaipur in the third position with an equal rating of 4.72 respectively out of 5 point scale.
International Airport standing of MIA was at first position in southern region airports and third overall in lndia.
